ICME offers professional development workshops on advanced technical topics for affiliate members and the wider community throughout the year.
ICME Career Forum
ICME Career Forum (formerly known as Xtend) takes place each November at Stanford. The career forum is designed to introduce Affiliate Members from industry and national labs to qualified ICME PhD and MS candidates through Career Information Sessions, a networking breakfast and reception, and a full day of interviews.
Women in Data Science (WiDS) Conference
WiDS is a one-day, technical conference that features outstanding women doing outstanding work in the field of data science, from a wide variety of domains. All speakers are thought leaders from academia, industry, non-profits, and government, talking about everything from data ethics and privacy, healthcare, data visualization, and more. All genders are welcome and encouraged to attend.
ICME Research Symposium
Every May ICME holds its ICME Research Symposium (formerly known as Xpo) providing an up-close and inside look at current research and future plans for ICME faculty and students. This is a unique opportunity to see how computational mathematics, data science, machine learning, scientific computing, and related fields are applied across a wide range of domain areas.
