AI in Real Life 2018

The Institute for Computational and Mathematical Engineering (ICME) hosts seminars on a weekly basis, where participants join faculty members and visitors as they present on current research work.

Students are strongly encouraged to attend seminars regularly to become acquainted with the broad variety of research topics in ICME.

CME 300: First Year Seminar Series

Required for first-year ICME Ph.D. students; recommended for first-year ICME M.S. students. Presentations about research at Stanford by faculty and researchers from Engineering, H&S, and organizations external to Stanford.

CME 500: Computational Math in Industry and Beyond

This seminar series explores how ICME coursework and research is applied in various organizations around the world

CME 510: Linear Algebra and Optimization Seminar

Scientists from different theoretical and application fields discuss solutions to complex scientific computing problems.
