Alison Marsden Elected to the AIMBE College of Fellows


Alison Marsden, ICME faculty member and Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Cardiology) and, by courtesy, of Mechanical Engineering, has been elected to the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) College of Fellows, Class of 2018.

AIMBE is the authoritative voice and advocate for the value of medical and biological engineering to society. It is an organization of leaders in medical and biological engineering, consisting of academic, industrial, professional society councils and elected fellows.

AIMBE’s mission includes communicating objectively with and responding to US and state government agencies, as well as lawmakers. AIMBE hopes to contribute to public policy making that benefit the public. 

AIMBE’s College of Fellows is comprised of around 1,500 individuals who have made significant contributions to the medical and biological engineering (MBE) community in academia, industry, government, and education that have transformed the world.
