ICME Analytics Accelerator

ICME Analytics Accelerator (CME217) offers our graduate students experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a real world setting and challenges them to think about unintended consequences, fairness and ethics in their work creating algorithms and analyzing data.  Graduate students from across campus work closely with expert mentors and faculty at the intersection of data science and design thinking.

Enrollment for 2021-2022

Analytics Accelerator will be offered again 2021-2022, providing graduate student teams from across campus the opportunity to work on new projects with Stanford faculty and mentors.

Fall 2021 Analytics Accelerator (CME217) – 1 credit seminar open to Stanford graduate students.  Each class session will focus on a new research project.  Students will have the opportunity to meet with faculty and mentors to learn about their research.

Winter 2022 Analytics Accelerator (CME217) – 3 credit project-based research course open to Stanford graduate students with teaching team approval.  The application for winter quarter will open near the end of fall quarter.  Selected students will preference projects introduced in class fall quarter and be placed on multidisciplinary teams.
