ICME Analytics Accelerator
Fall 2020 ICME introduced Analytics Accelerator (CME217/BIODS217) – a multidisciplinary graduate level course designed to give students hands-on experience working in teams through real-world project-based research and experiential classroom activities. Fall ICME Master’s and PhD students as well as graduate students from Stanford School of Medicine and School of Engineering focused on COVID-19 research projects.
Fall 2020 projects included:
Global Stress with Dr. Maheen Adamson, Stanford School of Medicine
COVID Data with Dr. Rusty Hofmann, Stanford School of Medicine
Genome 1 with Dr. Alex Ioannidis, Department of Biomedical Data Science
Genomic Waffle with Dr. Manuel Rivas, Department of Biomedical Data Science
Enrollment for Winter 2021
Analytics Accelerator will be offered again Winter 2021, providing graduate student teams from across campus the opportunity to continue working on Stanford School of Medicine COVID-19 projects including: genomics of COVID-19, stress detection from daily movement, and analysis of public COVID-19 data.
