What are you working on now?  What would you like to share with the research community at Stanford, ICME affiliates and alumni?

All ICME students should consider presenting a poster. Our aim is to showcase the breadth and depth of interesting work underway across ICME.  This will make it easier for attendees to connect with you based on mutual interests.

Poster Template: Here is a poster template for you to start with. Please remember to include any sponsor logos in the top right corner of the document.

Poster Guidelines: Professional-looking posters answer questions and tell the story of your research.  They are well-structured, have a logical flow, and combine graphics and text to tell a focused story.

Recommended Dimensions:

  • Optimal: 30" tall x 40" wide

Inspiration & Guidance:

Step One: Once your poster is ready to print, upload it to this Google folder by Wednesday, May 22. ICME will pay for your poster printing (IF you are an ICME student AND you print it on time) and you can either keep your poster for future conferences or post it in the ICME suite.

Step Two: Send your poster file to the Lathrop Tech Desk at thetechdesk@stanford.edu no later than noon on Wednesday, May 22 (allowing 3 business days for printing and pickup). Please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Set the dimensions of your PDF file to match your desired printing size precisely.
  • Ensure all graphs and logos in your file are clear and of high resolution.
  • Use "ICME Research Symposium Poster" as the subject line for your email.
  • Attach your poster as a PDF file.
  • Title your PDF file with "ICME" followed by your first initial and last name (e.g., "ICME_ALincoln").
  • In the body of your email, specify the exact dimensions of your poster (minimum and preferred size: 40" x 30", maximum: 40" x 40").
  • Pickup your poster at the tech desk after the printing turnaround time (typically 3 full business days).
