Student Poster Presentation Information & Guidelines

ICME Research Symposium 2026

Share your research and areas of interest with alumni, 
scholars and industry experts!

Please take note of the following dates and action items:

  1. RSVP to the ICME Research Symposium 2026 - We encourage you to stay the entire time from 10am to 4pm. This is great opportunity to network and learn from faculty & experts in the field.
  2. Submit Poster Interest by Friday 4/24/26 - Please promptly submit your interest and information to enable us to prepare a designated poster website highlighting your research for all attendees.
  3. Please submit your final abstracts by Thursday, 4/30/26
  4. Design Your Poster
  5. Submit your 30" tall x 40" wide poster in PDF to The Learning Hub Shop (Standard Print) by no later than Friday, 05/08/26, until 5pm & Upload it to this ICME Google Folder. Ensure your poster is submitted to the Lathrop Tech Desk by the due date as printing requires 5 business days. No rush orders will be accepted. Please plan accordingly for drop off and pickup. ICME will pay for poster printing,  please use discount code ICME2026 at checkout. Click here for further poster printing instructions.
  6. Hang Up your Poster at the Huang Mackenzie Room on Tuesday, 05/19/26, 9am-10am. If you can't do it during this time, please contact me at tschorna@stanford.edu.
  7. Present Poster at the ICME Research Symposium on Tuesday, 5/19/26, at the Huang Mackenzie Room, 3rd Floor: Check in at 11:30 AM or earlier to find out where you poster has been placed; Lunch at Noon, Presentation is from 12:30 to 1:30 PM & & 4:00 to 5:00 PM

What projects are you currently working on? What insights would you like to share with the Stanford research community, ICME affiliates, and alumni?

We invite all ICME and Affiliated Students to present a poster, showcasing the diverse and impactful work being done across ICME. This is a great opportunity to connect with others who share your research interests and to engage with the broader community.
 

Poster Template: Here is a poster template for you to start with. Please remember to include any sponsor logos in the top right corner of the document.

 
Poster Guidelines: Professional-looking posters answer questions and tell the story of your research.  They are well-structured, have a logical flow, and combine graphics and text to tell a focused story.  

Recommended Dimensions:

  • Optimal: 30" tall x 40" wide


Inspiration & Guidance:

Submit your poster in PDF to The Learning Hub Shop (Standard Print) by no later than Monday, 5/11/26, until 5pm & Upload it to this ICME Google Folder: Ensure your poster is submitted to the Lathrop Tech Desk by the due date as printing requires 5 business days. Please plan accordingly for drop off and pickup. ICME will pay for your poster printing and you can either keep your poster for future conferences.

Please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Set the dimensions of your PDF file to match the required 30" tall x 40" wide poster size.
  • Ensure all graphs and logos in your file are clear and of high resolution.
  • Use "ICME Research Symposium Poster" as the subject line for your email.
  • Attach your poster as a PDF file.
  • Title your PDF file with "ICME" followed by your first initial and last name (e.g., "ICME_ALincoln").
  • In the body of your email, specify the exact dimensions of your poster (30" tall x 40" wide).
  • Pickup your poster at the tech desk after the printing turnaround time (typically 5 full business days).
