ICME Summer Workshops

Every August, ICME offers a variety of summer workshops to students, external partners, and the wider community. The workshops cover a wide range of topics, ranging from machine learning to natural language processing to programming Python.

Xtend Career Forum

ICME Career Forum

ICME Career Forum (formerly known as Xtend) takes place each November at Stanford. The career forum is designed to introduce Affiliate Members from industry and national labs to qualified ICME PhD and MS candidates through Career Information Sessions, a networking breakfast and reception, and a full day of interviews.

WiDs 2017

Women in Data Science (WiDS) Conference

WiDS is a one-day, technical conference that features outstanding women doing outstanding work in the field of data science, from a wide variety of domains. All speakers are thought leaders from academia, industry, non-profits, and government, talking about everything from data ethics and privacy, healthcare, data visualization, and more. All genders are welcome and encouraged to attend. 

Xpo Poster Session

ICME Research Symposium

Every May ICME holds its ICME Research Symposium (aka Xpo) providing an up-close and inside look at current research and future plans for ICME faculty and students. This is a unique opportunity to see how computational mathematics, data science, machine learning, scientific computing, and related fields are applied across a wide range of domain areas.
