Join us for a fireside chat with Prof. Alison Marsden, a leader in computational cardiovascular modeling and the scientific lead of the SimVascular software platform. Moderated by Dr. Wei Li, Adjunct Professor at ICME and former VP/GM of AI Software at Intel, this conversation will explore how cutting-edge research moves from the lab to real-world clinical impact.
Prof. Marsden will share her experience translating computational research into practical tools, including her leadership of SimVascular, and its clinical adoption at Stanford Medicine. She will discuss the technical, collaborative, and strategic challenges of bringing innovative ideas into clinical practice.
