Students

As we navigate the negotiation of job salary and conditions, we are faced with important decisions with long reaching implications. In this context, we need to balance both the need to obtain substantively fair and beneficial terms with the need to develop and maintain positive relationships with our potential future employers. This highly interactive workshop will explore some recommended best practices around planning for and engaging in these negotiations. We will also set aside some time to practice briefly with a partner.

This workshop is currently limited to students from ICME & the Department of Statistics. Pizza will be served. If you have any questions, please get in touch with ICME Career Services: Tanya Schornack or Alexis Takagi.
