Upcoming ICME Workshops
This August, ICME will offer two in-person professional development workshops designed for engineers, mathematicians, scientists, and technical professionals seeking to build advanced skills in computational methods and artificial intelligence.
Space is limited and workshops are expected to fill quickly. Early registration is encouraged. Participants will receive a certificate upon completion, and affiliate members are eligible for a special discounted rate. Details are provided below.

Uncertainty Quantification in Data-Centric Simulations Workshop
This one-day intensive workshop provides a broad survey of mathematical methods for uncertainty quantification (UQ). Participants will learn about the key sources of uncertainty in modeling complex dynamic systems, including model form, parameters, and noise measurement.
Enrollment is limited to 20 participants.
From LLMs to Agents: Building Intelligent Systems Workshop
We will explore the emerging paradigm of Agentic AI systems, focusing on how Large Language Models (LLMs) can be extended into systems that reason, plan, and interact effectively with tasks and environments. Building on core LLM concepts, the workshop emphasizes the methodologies required to design structured, reliable, and adaptive agentic workflows, combining recent advances in reasoning, verification, and harness engineering with practical system design principles.
